WHEAT VEG MOMOS

Hello buddies, today I tried simple wheat veg momos. Actually I love momos a lot. In this lock down, tried this recipe with the ingredients available in home. 


WHEAT VEG MOMOS

 
INGREDIENTS:
Wheat        – 2 cups
Oil
Salt to taste
Pepper       – required amount

Vegetable stuff: (everything finely chopped)

Garlic         -  4 clove
Cabbage    –  1cup
Capsicum  –  1/2 cup
Carrot        –  ½ cup
Onion        –  1 medium size
Soya sauce – 1 spoon if you like this flavour

PROCEDURE:
1.       Mix the wheat, salt and add half table spoon of oil to smooth dough with     water.
2.       Keep this dough for at least 30 minutes.
3.       Heat oil in a pan and add garlic and onion. Saute for 30 seconds.
4.       Add finely chopped veggies ( cabbage, capsicum, carrot)
5.       Cook this mixture with stirring for 5 minutes.
6.       Now add salt, pepper, and soya sauce to your taste.
7.       Mix well and saute for a minute. Turn off the flame.
8.       Cut the dough into small pieces.
9.       Roll the dough thinly in a small round shape.
10.   Place vegetable fillings in center.
11.   Fold the edge a little inside and then little outside continuously in alternative    manner. Then join them to seal it.
12.   Now to steam cook, add water in steamer pan and place the rolls on it and       close the lid and heat on medium for 15 minutes.
13.   Then you can enjoy your yuppie momos with red chutney.
